Symptoms

DIH GUI User Account was Locked

Cause

 After DIH User Entered GUI wrong password multiple times Account got 

Solution

 

How to unlock DIH GUI user account through WebLogic console

Precondition:

Open the Weblogic Console GUI using below method

https://<DIHIPAddress>/console

Login:  weblogic

Password:   Weblogic1

Procedure:

  1. Login to weblogic GUI and  Click on "OK" under "System Status" as shown:

  2. Click on”Security” tab:

  3. Click on “Unlock user “ tab. Type USER ACCOUNT NAME  to be unlocked and then click on "Save". The account will be unlocked.

How to reset password of any DIH GUI user account through weblogic GUI

  1. Login to weblogic GUI. Click on “ Security Realms”

  2. Click on “myrealm”

  3. Click on “Users and Groups” Tab.

  4. From the list of usernames, select and click the username for which password reset is required. For example, say User "TklcSrv"

  5. Click on "Password" tab, type the new password and confirm it. Save the changes made by clicking on "Save" tab. This will reset the password of selected account to the new one.

 

 

NOTE:IF Above Process does not work and user is still not able to RESET user Account,then

 

Execute steps to stop/start nspservice on NSP via command line:

    • Log into DIH via command line as root user
    • Execute command "service nspservice stop"  -  Wait for command to complete execution.
    • Execute command "service nspservice start"  -  Wait for command to complete execution.

After completion of stop/start of nspservice re-execute steps to reset password via Weblogic console (first procedure).
