Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Alarm 'bubbles' may not appear or populate with any value, various screens opened from the left menu fail to show data or populate a table with values as expected.  Symptoms can include other abnormalities as well.

Changes

DSR OAM servers (NOAM, SOAM) have concluded software upgrade activity to a new release.

Cause

This condition can be caused by stale data or formatting from the previous DSR release retained locally in the client browser cache.

Solution

The solution to this problem involves reloading or clearing browser cache, and may be different depending on type of web browser in use by the client.

Suggested actions:

1. Attempt to access the OAM GUI using a different browser to see if the problem appears uniformly with other browsers.
2. Attempt to connect to OAM GUI from another workstation to see if the problem remains.
3. Do a force reload of the browser cache using 'F5' key or combination of ctrl + F5 key (depending on OS and browser).
4. If the above do not work, clear the cache and other browsing data in the browser using the Browser's Options, Tools, or Settings menus (depends on browser in use).
