Symptoms
Tape drive keeps getting tapes stuck in it. We have cleared two in the past two days. Cannot clear this one today.
FSC 6484: (FSC Match Found in same product family: 8500 Rev. FRS851)
The drive wasn't threaded after the 2nd part of the two-part load
FSC 6415: (FSC Match Found in Rev. FRS_4.00)
The load failed and the cartridge is still present
Changes
Cause
Cartridge leader broke off inside the drive. Not able to recover the leader.
Solution
Replaced the drive.
