Problem Details:
============

LSMS GUI Reporting alarms for inactive NPAC Region "Canada" when lsms start <region_name> command was executed.

Customer doesn't use the region but still it is listed.

[lsmsadm@ABCDE-LSMS-A ~]$ lsms status

  Unknown region ==>
  Must be one of the following:
  MidAtlantic
  Midwest
  Northeast
  Southeast
  Southwest
  WestCoast
  Western
  Canada
Usage: lsms [ start | stop ]

Command complete.

Errors:

6010 - Failure Restarting NPACagent [Canada]
6020 - NPACagane Has been Shut Down

Changes

Cause

lsms start <region_name> command was executed for inactive region

the region in Inactive/ un-authorized with no traces of CanadaDB but still MySQL had some configuration related to it

Solution

For TAC Internal:

Consult CoE to delete required configuration related to inactive region in MySQL database.
