Symptoms

Alarm indicating the NAS is running out of disk space

Cause

The ResyncDB backup files are too big because the database is not being truncated.
 
The ResyncDB should have no more than 1M records.
 

Solution

Although files were deleted from the NAS, the alarm did not clear. The alarm on the LSMS was stuck in alarmMgr. It has to be cleared with
 . /etc/profile; /usr/bin/snmptrap -v 2c -c public localhost '' LSMS-NAS-MIB::volumeRepaired enterprises s 'volume_repaired'
