SymptomsA System Alert of RAID_EVENT_ENCLOSURE_SBB_MIDPLANE_INTERCONNECT_STATUS_CRITICAL is observed. ChangesAn Input/Output Module (IOM) has recently been replaced in a DE2-24C Enclosure or a new DE2-24C Enclosure has been added to the system. CauseIOMs from logistics and those in DE2-24C add-ons come with a firmware version (0010) that does not properly handle certain I2C inquiries in a timely fashion. SolutionUpgrade the IOM firmware version to 001E. Since this version has been included with every Generally Available software releases with the FS1-2, the IOM upgrade will happen with a simple restart of the system. NOTE: a restart of the system will make the data on the FS1-2 inaccessible until the system is back up.
