Symptoms
IBM LTO7 Port-B Cannot be Enabled.
After upgrading drives to G9Q2 code, the drives cannot enable Port-B.
Changes
Cause
This issue is due to a change in the number of bytes in a field reported by the IBM drive and does not affect the drive's performance.
Solution
This issue is resolved with the release of FRS-8.60 and FRS 4.50 library codes.
