Online trace was collected from Eagle STP using below command and observed that they were getting traffic for a CdPA GT which was not configured in EAGLE and hence EAGLE was unable to process that traffic by saying No Translation Found.

E2405 Cmd Rej: GTA/SADDR does not exist in any range

In EAGLE STP, this linkset <Linkset Name> was getting the traffic for a GT "123450000462" which is not configured or defined in the STP, so the traffic is getting failed and triggering the MTPRTD counter and hence getting the alarm Exceeded Service Error Threshold lvl 2.

Solution

To Resolve this problem we have two options :

  1. Check with Originator node who is sending traffic with this GT "123450000462" all of a sudden on the linkset <Linkset Name>, If this is happening due to error please get that corrected and once they stop sending traffic with this CdPA GT, there will be no failure at STP and Alarm will get Clear.

  2. If the Originator node has to use this new GT then you will need to define this GT in EAGLE STP so, that the incoming traffic for this CdPA GT will be processed correctly in EAGLE and then we will not be getting the UAM 453 Exceeded Service Error Threshold lvl 2.
