In this Document
Created from <SR 3-16688276041> Applies to:Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 - Version All Versions and laterSun Network QDR InfiniBand Gateway Switch - Version All Versions and later Information in this document applies to any platform. Symptomsroot filesystem of Infiniband Switch reaches 94% ChangesAfter upgrading to firmware version 2.2.X, the Infiniband Switch root filesystem reaches to ~94% - 95% CauseWith firmware versions 2.2.x the Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 and Sun Network QDR InfiniBand Gateway Switch, the firmware has moved to Oracle Linux 6 as the base OS (from CentOS 5.2 for firmware 2.1.x and earlier), and the new OS uses more space than the older. This said, configuration and logs are on other partitions of the SSD, so the root partition will not grow. This change can be verified in Read Me file for the Patch "Moved From CentOS 5.2 to Oracle Linux 6.5 with UEK2" under Changes from version 2.1.8."
Example: Before Infiniband Switch Upgrade [root@ib_hostname ~]# version
