Sun ZFS Storage 7420 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Counters for SNMP are too low for faster interfaces. The numbers easily wrap and are not useful.

Changes

Cause

SNMP counters are currently only 32-bit. Newer network technology, such as Gigabit Ethernet and Infiniband, need more space to record useful numbers.

Solution

This is a known issue. A software enhancement is currently under consideration.
