Symptoms

For ZS3-2 running OS 8.7.11 to OS 8.7.13, the product-name field in the system is reporting the incorrect value which may cause ASR to fail with SR creation - since the product type is not matching the ASR values required for the product.

Any ASR generated for a ZS3-2 running OS 8.7.11 (or later) will be routed to the 'x86' group for processing, since the '<product-name>' for the ASR telemetry is incorrectly changed to 'SUN NETRA X4270 M3'.

Changes

After upgrade to OS 8.7.11 -> OS 8.7.13.

Cause

Bug 27305195 (ASR SCRK/ZS3-2 is reporting invalid product-name causing ASR failures)

The fix for Bug 27305195 is available in Appliance Firmware Release OS 8.7.14.

Solution

Upgrade to Appliance Firmware Release OS 8.7.14 (or later) to resume proper ASR connectivity and alerts.
