Changes

 New network monitoring application added to the Customer network can trigger this issue. End user running snmpget can also trigger this issue.

Cause

Firmware versions older than 1.3.1.21 (ES1-24), or 1.2.2.23 (72P) can hit this issue.

Solution

Disable ILOM SNMP as a work around or install firmware version 1.3.1.21 or later for ES1-24 or install 1.2.2.23 or later for 72P

Disable SNMP monitoring from the ILOM CLI prompt as a quick work around.

-> cd /SP/services/snmp
-> set servicestate=disabled
