Applies to:

Acme Packet 1100 - Version E-Cz7.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

AP1100 system when running ECZ750m2p10 and ECZ750M3 when configured to enable BOTH call-trace and internal-trace commands may hang on restart. No console or remote access via SSH or Telnet is possible. Customer must power cycle the 1100 to get it to come up again.

Cause

Enabling BOTH of these two commands on the AP1100 may cause this to happen.

Solution

Edit the configuration to remove those two statements which should only be run under supervision by the TSC. Be sure they are not configured or if they are, that the line is set to be disabled
