Symptoms

Tape Drive Bay 33 is not available to SL8500.
We tried reboot via SLConsole no success

Cause

Collected DUMP and in splat show FSC FE01:

Drive SNO FSC is fe01
(FSC Exact Match Found)
FSC: FE01 ITZ_FSC_DC_CMPR_DIAGNOSTIC_FAILED
MIM Code: INOPERABLE
FRU: HARDWARE CONF: 95%
FRU: MICROCODE CONF: 5%

The DC hardware compression wakeup diagnostic failed.
 

Solution

We replaced the tape drive according action plan.
