Solution

Suggest Customer to Inspect the media if the tape is failing with multiple drives.

If the media failed with a single drive and generated FSC : 4055, ask Customer to Inspect the media.

Ask Customer to upgrade to the latest drive firmware. Provide the patch number to customer to download.

If media is working fine with the other drives and drive is at the latest firmware level, collect the drive dump and upload the information to the service request for review.
