Symptoms

ES2-64 switch did not come up after a power cycle.

Cause

ILOM POWER settings not configured .
 
-> show /SP/policy/
/SP/policy
Targets:
Properties:
HOST_AUTO_POWER_ON = disabled<---------------------------------------Disabled
HOST_LAST_POWER_STATE = disabled
 

Solution

Configure ILOM as described in the ES2-64 Product notes.

Set 'HOST_AUTO_POWER_ON' to 'enabled'
-> show /SP/policy/
/SP/policy
Targets:
Properties:
HOST_AUTO_POWER_ON = enabled<----------------------------Enabled
HOST_LAST_POWER_STATE = disabled

 

Confirm by doing a power cycle on the switch again by removing and reinserting AC power cables. 

If the issue persists, open an SR with Oracle.
