Symptoms

OCEEMS user cannot access to "Reporting studio" after OCEEMS is upgraded.

WHAT IS WORKING?

root OCEEMS user does not have issues to access "Reporting studio" but another user cannot connect to Reporting Studio via E5MS Graphical User Interface.

ENVIRONMENT:

Product and Version: 46.2.0.0.1
System Name: E5-MS

Cause

Following error appears when a user has unsuccessful attempt at opening Reporting Studio:

"There are no tasks for the current registered user."

This error means that the user does not have any view assigned to it in reporting studio.

In reporting studio system permissions >> Users , this user has not been added. 

Solution

Refer to Reporting Studio Install/Upgrade Guide http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E69117_01/doc.462/E69122_rev_2.pdf

Perform the Step 2 on page 14 for the problematic user which describes how to add permissions for a specific user.
