Created from <SR 3-15810398441> Applies to:Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Racked System ZS4-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Exalogic Elastic Cloud X3-2 Quarter Rack - Version X3 to X6 [Release X3 to X6] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS5-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Oracle ZFS Storage ZS5-2 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] 7000 Appliance OS (Fishworks) SymptomsBefore the upgrade of the ZFSSA array to the ak8.7.x appliance code version: The graphical BUI and CLI once showed a value called "Free" under the data zpool in the main dashboard.
ChangesArray is upgraded to the ak8.7.x code version.
CauseThe change to remove the "free" parameter was made as per bug 22590437: BUG 22590437 - Inconsistent size reporting in AK CLI and BUI
SolutionSo as per the bug, the information was changed around as pre ak8.7.x the "free" parameter actually showed the real available information and the "avail" parameter showed the real free information.
Now the bug corrected the "avail" parameter to show the actual real available information. The "free" parameter is still available - you can select the pool under status storage and do a get free but now that information will be the same as the "avail" parameter.
