Drive had been replaced for same issue the day before.

Symptoms

Drive fails with an "overtemp" error message.

The drive stops working. After a reset it will work for a while, but then goes offline again.

FSC A000 indicating over temp,

Cause

The drive has a separate cooling tray which could be the cause of the over temp.

Solution

Replace the 7052400 [F] Fan Assembly.
