 On ODA 12.1.2.11 dom0:

# xm list
Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 4036 20 r----- 1717473.3

VCPUS is only 20

But before upgrade:

# xm list
Name ID Mem VCPUs State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 4096 72 r----- 7828716.6

VCPUs is 72

Changes

 Update from old release to 12.1.2.11

Cause

 The is expected behavior.

We turning the vcpu number for dom0 based on the document:

Solution

 It is expected and ignore the change.
