Symptoms

When logging into a DSR server the hostname is not shown correctly

[admusr@xxxxxx-dsrno-a ~]$ ssh admusr@yyyyyy-dsrno-b
Password:
Last login: Tue Aug 8 11:03:37 2017 from xxxxxx-dsrno-a

Cause

This problem is caused by certain files missing from the /home/admusr directory

Solution

Ensure the following files are present in the /home/admusr directory with the permissions as shown below then logout and re-log back in again

-rw------- 1 admusr admgrp 73848  Aug 9 20:53 /home/admusr/.bash_history
-rw-r--r--. 1 admusr admgrp 18      Oct 30 2014 /home/admusr/.bash_logout
-rw-r--r--. 1 admusr admgrp 176    Oct 30 2014 /home/admusr/.bash_profile
-rw-r--r--. 1 admusr admgrp 124    Oct 30 2014 /home/admusr/.bashrc

If they are not present or any are missing, copy the files from a known good server to the bad server
