Question: Which hardware component(s) are experiencing the issues / errors? Answer: Drive Question: Have you tried to unload the tape through the host application and/or tried to issue a force dismount through any available library management application such as ACSLS? Answer: We tried to unload the tape unsuccessfully. Question: Have you tried resetting the drive using Web GUI? Answer: We tried to reset the drive. Question: Have you tried to unload the tape from the SL150 web GUI? Answer: We tried to unload the tape from the web GUI. Question: Have you tried to manually unload the tape from the drive? Answer: We tried to manually unload the tape from drive. Symptoms9024 Error on Operator panel Tape stuck in a drive Drive is bad. Reseated the drive and it is still going to a bad state. CauseThis error was found under the drive health of the drive dump: Tape Alert : Hard Error, Medium, Unrecoverable Mechanical Cartridge Failure, Loading or Threading Failure, Unrecoverable Unload Failure. SolutionDrive needs to be replaced. The SL150 logs show that the bridge drive has caused a 9024 (Bridge Drive Failure) error. A drive dump from the bridge drive right after the SL150 reports the 9024 error is required to further troubleshoot this issue.
