Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Virtual server host (TVOE) may not appear among PM&C Virtual Entities list under VM Management window (reboot may resolve)

Attempting to edit the Virtual Machine via PM&C, will see the "VirtAction: Edit" task fail with status message of "Mapping iso copy error: scp call failed. Keys exchanged with host?"

Changes

Typically host and guest server has been up (largely unused) a long time, and user may be making changes or additions to the virtual server.

Cause

The /var/TKLC filesystem is consumed on the TVOE host.  This can be due to a number of causes, including excessive logging or having .iso file(s) mounted as a remnant of the original installation or software upgrade.

Solution

Log into the host server and check the filesystem [command is "df -h" at prompt].

Identify file or files consuming the filesystem and correct the condition  Once space is freed in the disk volume, editing the Virtual Machine filesystem should succeed.
