Solution
Workaround: Reboot of the SL8500 according action plan below.
Procedure to reboot the controller (HBC card) of the SL8500.
1. Have customer put the Libraries (LSMs) offline of those SL8500.
----> Attention: During Reboot process the library will stop the mounts but the tape drives that were already mounted will continue working. If you want to have guaranties of without erros messages, is better put all drive offline.
2. With library offline, Press EPO Bottom (Red Bottom) in front of SL8500 (Keypad Switches).
3. Go to back of the SL8500 and power off the four circuit breakers (White Bottom).
4. Wait for the controller power off of all LEDs of the ECM.
5. Power up the four circuit breakers (White Bottom).
6. Wait approximately 15 minutes for ECM start.
7. Press the EPO on front of SL8500 (Keypad Switches).
8. Wait for the SL8500 to complete the initialization. Check SLConsole for all Devices to be Green.
9. Return the libraries online.
10. Run log snapshot all and send to SR for analysis.
Solution:
Correction is in the firmware FRS_8.60.
