Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 7.2.0 to DSR 8.0.0 [Release DSR 7.0 to DSR 8.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After Upgrade from DSR 7.0.1 to 8.0.0 Edit And Delete Buttons Not Active Under Scheduled Task on NOAM And SOAM GUI

Main Menu--> Status & Manage --> Tasks --> Scheduled Tasks

Changes

 Upgrade from DSR 7.0.1 to 8.0.0

Cause

In PeriodicTask table we can see that Entity_ID is set as 0.
If Entity_ID is set as 0 then the scheduled tasks cannot be edited from GUI.

[root@DRA01-NOAM ~]# iqt -E PeriodicTask
PT_ID=0 Meta_ID=3 Cron_ID=0 Filter= Name=APDE Remote Server Copy Description=Automatic Periodic Data Export Remote Server Copy Task NeName=NE_DRA01_NOAM Scope=AS:NS Entity_ID=0 fprefix=

This issue is Bug# 25817322 fixed in DSR 8.1

Solution

As a workaround please execute the below command from Active NOAM to set Entity_ID to -1

# iset -fEntity_ID=-1 PeriodicTask where "1=1"
