Changes

OS upgraded to 2013.1.7.0

Cause

Bug 25913987 (ZFSSA BUI unavailable if interface name is subset of ipmp test address name)

The problem was caused because - in a previous intervention - a network interface was created on stripped node after a motherboard replacement, so the cluster does not have the correct information.

The problem is believed to occur because configuration changes were done while the cluster head was in stripped state instead of clustered status.

Solution

Issue resolved by creating a 'new' VNIC over the same datalink to be able to access to admin interface through the BUI.

To clear all 'remnants' of the issue, the  cluster has to be in the clustered status - to be able to delete the previous unusable VNIC.
