SymptomsWhen attempting to install the Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) onto a Windows 10 system, you may see the error message "Called RunScript when not marked in progress." After selecting OK, the installation stops. ChangesThus far this has only been observed in Windows 10 and recent versions of the GUI. It is possible though that earlier versions of the FS software could also be affected. CauseThere are a couple of different reasons for this to happen, but most of them have to do with improper permissions. SolutionA solution exists on the answers.microsoft.com web site: Problem is in permissions on "C:\Windows\Temp" folder. Here is an example of the problem before and after the permissions are updated:
Once the FS System Manager GUI is installed, the permissions can be restored back to their original settings.
