Created from <SR 3-15104603421> Applies to:Sun StorageTek Auto Cartridge Sys Lib SW (ACSLS) - Version 8.0 to 8.4 [Release 8.0]Sun StorageTek SL3000 Modular Library System - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases] Information in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsCustomer installed four new T10KD tape drives in a new SL3000 drive panel. ChangesCustomer added a new tape drive panel assembly and four new tape drives to their existing eight tape drives in their SL3000 tape library. CauseThe customers original eight tape drives are configured to use the HLI interface. The new four new tape drives were configured to use the FC SCSI interface. SolutionThe customer moved ALL of the installed tape drives, the original eight and the four new T10KD drives, to FC SCSI interface then back to HLI interface using SLConsole. All of the tape drives were then assigned HLI addresses and all 12 tape drives could then be seen in partition 0.
