Symptoms

 During commit process, SLConsole timed out.

Changes

 Customer upgraded library firmware to 8.51.

Cause

 SL Console session timed out. Partition definition did not activate.

Solution

Solution 1: Reboot card cage.

     Refer to  SL8500 - How to Bring Back BOTs, Elevators, CAPs That Disappear or Show Red After a Power Cycle of the Card Cage (Doc ID 1481296.1),

Solution 2: Power down the card cage using the 4 white circuit breakers below the cards in the card cage.
