Symptoms

Windows patch for RansomWare on Tape library Embedded Platform

Cause

To find out if there's a patch for the embedded Windows platform for tape library. (e.g SL500 & SL3000)

Please help to verify the type of Windows version embedded on the tape library

Solution

Our libraries will work with Windows OS, Linux OS ....... etc.  The library does not use Windows OS in its operations.

Any type of patching for this RansomWare is done on the server and not devices attached to the server. Server meaning Windows 2000.
