ur oracle tape library Storagetech150 is having connectivity issues between SAN and the device.
Troubleshooting steps done.

- Reboot the drive and check the status.: Done
- Check Fibre Channel cable connectivity, remove and reconnect the FC cable. Done
- Confirm the FC cable status by connecting to a different port on the SAN switch. Done
- Swap the not working port cable with a working port cable. Done

Symptoms

 150 is having connectivity issues between SAN and the device.

Cause

 Switch issue.

Solution

 Focused on SAN switch side and changed some parameter in order to force port to work using F-port type.

portcfggport -> this force's the port to pass the AL verification and only negotiates as an E or F port.
