Applies to:

Oracle Key Manager - Version 2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After joining an OKM Cluster a KMA may intermittently go unresponsive as reported by the KMA List in the OKM GUI.  The ILOM Web Interface may also be inaccessible.

A hard power-cycle may temporarily clear the condition, and the network interfaces will be pingable.

Cause

Adding new KMA into the network infrastructure.

Solution

The network switch ports were not configured correctly for auto-negotiate.

Ensure the Ethernet switch ports have the correct configuration. The switch ports should be set to auto-negotiate for full duplex and gigabit speed.
