SymptomsEvent 32513 "Device Interface Warning" is raised at the DSR GUI. At the shell prompt, syscheck will produce "ipbond: FAILURE:: MINOR::5000000000002000 -- Device Interface Warning" in class net. Executing "cat /proc/net/bonding/bondX" where X is 0, 1, or 2 as appropriate will show only one ethernet interface (ethXY) available. ChangesA network event may have preceded this condition. CauseThe interface is down, either locally or on the far end (switch). The origin can be manual or due to a network event. If manual, the availability needs to be restored manually to recover. If due to a network event, it should normally recover automatically however there are some cases where recovery may fail after the network event has cleared. SolutionTo resolve, data should be captured to identify the origin of the condition as much as possible. Examples of data include:
