Sun StorageTek SL3000 Modular Library System - Version Not Applicable to Not Applicable [Release N/A]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem was discovered after chasing an auto-clean problem with an SL3000 partitioned library. SL3000 is Fibre attached.

Symptoms

After an upgrade to FRS_4.32 the scsi element ids have changed on drives and some drives had duplicate scsi element ids.

Cell reallocation in any of the Library partitions seems to cause auto-clean to be disabled for the partition.

Changes

FW upgrade to 4.32

Cause

FW FRS_4.32 in combination with SLC FRS_6.60 and cell re-allocation in library partitions

Solution

To resolve the scsi element ids issue post upgrade you need FW FRS_4.40 and SLC FRS_6.65
