Symptoms

Customer was not ale to create a new OKM user and assign privileges after upgrading their OKM cluster to version 2.5.3.

Changes

 Upgraded to OKM version 2.5.3

Cause

The new users pass phrase did not contain a special character and was not accepted as a valid pass phrase.

Solution

With the customer's older versions of OKM firmware, the customer was able to create new users without using special characters.  

After upgrading to version 2.5.3, they are now required to use:

  - a minimum of eight characters

  - at least one capital letter

  - at least one lower case letter

  - at least one number

  - at least one special character from the following list:

        ‘ ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] { } \ | ; : ’ ” < > , . / ?
