Symptoms

The virtual CDROM device cannot be seen on the OS, although the redirecting operation seems to have succeeded as follows.

1. Launch the ILOM Remote System Console Plus.
a. In the ILOM web interface, click click Remote Control > Redirection.
b. Select Use video redirection and click Launch Remote Console.

2. Redirect the storage media from the ILOM Remote System Console Plus.
    a. Click KVMS > Storage
    b. In the Storage Devices dialog box, click Add and add a storage image.
    c. Select the storage image and click Connect.

Cause

Please check if the tlsv1 is disabled in the properties of /SP/services/https.

Properties:
        port = 443
        servicestate = enabled
        sessiontimeout = 15
        tlsv1 = disabled <<<<<<<< disabled.
        tlsv1_1 = enabled
        tlsv1_2 = enabled

Solution

There are two solutions.

Solution#1) Set the tlsv1 to enabled.

-> set /SP/services/https tlsv1=enabled

Solution#2) If cannot enable for security reason, please uncheck the "SSL Enabled" in the Storage Devices dialog box when connecting the storage image.
