BUI error :
CauseThis issue is encountered if a control character is encountered for any of the Hardware components. AKD reads the hardware configuration and reads the details like Serial no. , FRU part no. etc, If these details are corrupted and an illegal control character is seen by AKD, this kind of error message is seen. This is a known issue with older AK firmware - older than 2013.1.5.4
Example: fmtopo output for one of the Memory Module (DIMM) shows control character : label string P2/MR0 DIMM 1
Solution1. Replace the component seen with control character. 2. Upgrade the Appliance Firmware Release to the latest which fixes this bug.
