SymptomsCan't Look Up SM_NOTIFY Sender CauseDNS Server SolutionSM_NOTIFY messages are used to notify the hosts client and server for any reboots and lock recovery. The server and clients use hostname to in SM_NOTIFY messages of any reboots and lock recovery. This hostname whether client or server should be consistent with the dns address mapping and reverse lookups. If they are not able to resolve the hostnames this messages appear. So make sure that the server is able to resolve the clients hostnames to proper ipaddresses. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
