The DC hardware compression wakeup diagnostic failed.

Solution

Support Annotations:
T10000a/B - if the drive was recently power cycled and took this error coming up then the drive needs to be replaced. There is a defective chip in the drive. No failure analysis (FA) is necessary on the drive.

Replace the tape drive.
