Symptoms

Some dashboards stay blank while opening. Even no "Operation in progress" message is displayed.

Cause

This is caused by privileges. Profile associated to user has not NSPConfigUser.

As per nsp1a.out (or nsp1b.out):

java.rmi.AccessException: [EJB:010160]Security Violation: User: 'UserName' has insufficient permission to access EJB: type=, application=Core, module=kernel-ejb.jar, ejb=DataFacade, method=getSessionClass, methodInterface=Remote, signature={java.lang.Long}.

Solution

Solution consists of adding NSPConfigUser to Profile and exclude applications that must not be available to this profile;

Login NSP Security application
Go in Profiles section (Security => Profiles)
Add NSPConfigUser to user (press Ctrl to allow multiple selection)
In excluded app, select all applications not related to ConfigUser:
- Alarm(Configuration)
- Alarm Forwarding
- Browser Export Scheduler
- Centralized Configuration
- Dashboard(Configuration)
- Historical KPI
- KPI
- Mediation Data Feed
- Reference Data
- Scheduler
