There has been several reports of stalled code loads of FRS-8.51 code.

Symptoms

FRS-8.51 Code Load Stall

The load hangs and never unpacks.

Changes

Code or firmware upgrade.

Cause

Process issue.

Solution

Restarting the load usually succeeds. If possible, it is highly recommended to reboot the libraries in the complex prior to starting the code load procedure.

The load is frequently done before taking the libraries offline in an effort to save time.

However, rebooting the libraries as a first step will reduce potential problems.
