Symptoms


Reimage to the BDA V4.5 base image fails. The reimage is found to be stopped at:

Loading initrd.img.....................................ready
Probing EDD (ed
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.

 

Cause

One potential cause is a corrupt/bad USB drive. Open an SR with Oracle Support to determine the specific problem being faced.
