Symptoms

In all of the databases in SC, have background processes from normal users which are active for almost 7 days.

if we kill these session, they appear again after sometime.

Ex:

Cause

these processes are used for send message from Database instance to ASM instance, it is expected bahavior.

Solution

Oracle Database instances need to run O-slave processes to send messages from Database instance to ASM instance.

Minimum number of processes is 1. Maximum number of processes is 30.

Please safely ignore these processes.
