Problem Summary:

Following Issue encountered during HC2/ Upgrade activities.

Createsets command hanged in HC2 – Proc19 for repeatedly showing/ stuck on MUX Group sets (Upgrade Guide Appendix B2)
The display set command hanged in Upgrade before Proc8 with same error.

Problem Details:
----------------------
"ACT-UPGRADE:ACTION=CREATESETS" command to create card sets seems to get stuck for HIPRs and kept repeating the following display until the active E5MASP was physically reseated with on-site assistance.

The same issue encountered prior to upgrade when attempted to display set command “act-upgrade:action=displaysets”: The system hanged again for showing repeated MUX Group Sets.

Cause

Suspecting Issue Related to BUG 19115638

Solution

Following are the workaround Solutions:

Please, make sure Appendix B.2 Proc30-Step6 was executed when preparing the STP to use Card-Set Network Conversion Method (Even IF Proc30-Step4 Showed Upgrade threshold type "SET")
Thee alternative method to upgrade in case Card-Set Conversion Method fails is to reconfigure the upgrade threshold type to group in Appendix B2 Proc30-Step6 "chg-upgrade-config:threstype=group"
