Cause

This is related to Bug 24837179 caused due to Overload (high level of traffic) on a network card can trigger a local RX FIFO Full condition in the card's IMT bus. The condition may be interpreted by the EAGLE OAM as the card being disconnected from that IMT bus. The card may continue to report as being disconnected from that IMT bus even after the card overload condition abates.

Solution

The permanent fix for this is target for R46.5.

WORK AROUND: To clear the stuck condition issue the commands:

  1. "disc-imt:bus=<a | b>:loc=<card slot>" then "conn-imt:bus=<a | b>:loc=<card slot>".
  2. init-card:loc=xxx
