Symptoms

Two RTDs are unable to vary online to the VTSS and VTCS.

SLS6684I RTD rtdname ON VTSS vtssname RETURNED ECAM ERROR CC=5 RC=109

Changes

The IODEF and physical ports on the switch were changed for the RTDs in question.

Cause

When the switch port addresses are changed for RTDs, this requires a Field Engineer (FE) to go onsite and reconfigure the VCF card. The VCF card is configured for specific port addresses.

Solution

Open a Service Request in My Oracle Support using the serial number of the VTSS, to which the RTDs are attached, and ask for support to review and verify whether this is the cause of the problem.
