Applies to:

Acme Packet 4600 - Version S-Cx6.4.x to S-Cz7.4.0 [Release S-Cx6.0 to S-Cz7.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a call is placed from access to backbone, and the SDP in the received INVITE contains audio and video "mlines", codecs G722 and H.264, the call fails with 503 service unavailable message from SBC.

Review of wireshark traces clearly demonstrates that SBC is not processing the call and responding with 503 service unavailable message from SBC.

Note: We found that if the average-rate limit under media-profile of h264 is set to 0, 100 , 124999999 or any value except "125000000" the call works fine.
