Solution Type Problem Resolution Sure Solution 2214866.1 : Oracle AP Session Border Controller Removes p-asserted Header in the Egress
In this Document
Created from <SR 3-13714280721> Applies to:Net-Net 9200 - Version S-D7.1.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsAdministrator observes that the SBC device is removing the p-asserted header (PAI) on egress. CauseIf the end point has the 'trust-me' set to disabled, then the SBC will not trust that end point, and will not forward the PAI on the egress. is basically not trusting that end point. Hence, the PAI will not be forwarded on the egress. SolutionThe PAI header would be forwarded by the SBC if the end point is trusted. Example: There is a 'trust-me' parameter for the appropriate session-agent. session-agent
hostname 1.1.1.1 ip-address 1.1.1.1 port 5060 state enabled app-protocol SIP . . trust-me disabled <<=============== By changing the SA parameter 'trust-me' to enabled, the Administrator is telling the SBC that 1.1.1.1 is a trusted end point and the PAI can be forwarded to this trusted end point.
