In this Document
Created from <SR 3-13528251151> Applies to:Exalytics In-Memory Machine X5-4 - Version All Versions and laterLinux OS - Version Oracle Linux 6.6 and later Information in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsRebooted server after configuring flash by running the Configure_Flash.sh script on an Exalytics, Release 2.0.0.0 server with Linux 6. After reboot the /u01 mount is missing. df -h command below does not show "/u02" mount point: [root@server ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 1004G 9.0G 944G 1% / tmpfs 1010G 4.0K 1010G 1% /dev/shm /dev/sda1 485M 63M 397M 14% /boot /dev/mapper/VolGroup01-LogVol00 3.3T 1.1T 2.0T 35% /u01 On "/dev/nvme0n1” disk all partitions are lost as shown below: [root@server ~]# parted /dev/nvme0n1 Number Start End Size File system Name Flags (parted) quit This problem can occur on any Exalytics, Linux 6 server with Release 2.0.0.0.0 or Release 2.0.0.1.0. CauseDuring the initial execution of configure_flash.sh script something caused corruption in the partitioning of flash cards. SolutionTo resolve this issue, apply below patches: 2) <Patch 24901336> PATCH CREATION FOR BUG # 21474262 AND 24691425 (Patch) These patches provide updated flash utilities and updated configure_flash.sh and exalytics_CheckFlash.sh scripts. After applying the patches re-run configure_flash.sh to clean up the corrupt partitions and re-configure flash and mount /u02 successfully. Reboot the server and confirm that "/u02" mount point is present (i.e. run "df -h" command).
