Symptoms

Customer has T10KD tape drives and when they use ssh to the drives we see the following error message:

Warning: This drive uses SNMPv1
Using "public" and "private" community strings poses a major security risk.

Changes

none

Cause

T10000 has SNMP enabled and only nsmp v1.0 is supported

Solution

No workaround.
